Maslinica

Here you will discover romantic bays and an evergreen nature. The interior of the island holds old villages with small alleys and old stone houses. The sea and the island offer ideal conditions for divers, anglers and sailors. Sampling the regional wine, the well-known honey, the liquor and other specialties is a must. The bay, in which Maslinica is situated, is suitable for an extended stay as it is protected from all winds. Small boats may anchor along the landing stage, while the northern part of the stage is reserved for ferries. Good anchorage is also available to the south of the harbour in Šešula bay, which is also protected from all winds.

Komiža

Komiža, on the island of Vis, is a typical Mediterranean town with small streets and alleys that grew around the harbour and a variety of beaches. The mild climate makes Komiza the ideal location for a holiday, even in the winter months. The urban harbour disposes of more than 30 berths. There is also a filling station in the harbour. To be recommended is a visit to the Blue Grotto Modra Spilja on the Bisevo island, five sea miles away from Komiza.

Vis

The town of Vis is located on the northeastern side of Vis island. Due to its retracted location in the southwest of the large Uvala Svetog Jurja bay as well as the offshore island Host and the Prirovo Peninsula, Vis is specially protected from the open sea. Within the bay, there are smaller landing stages near Kut and Stonac. Beautiful beaches are to be found in eastern direction at Stončica lighthouse.

Vela Luka

The small town of Vela Luka is located on the western side of Korcual island, on the edge of the wide bay. The harbour is protected from all winds. Only strong western winds can bring smaller waves. The boats can be moored at the landing stage. Only a small part of the landing stage is reserved for local ferries. The bay also offers anchorage to the east of the islet of Ošjaka in Gradina bay and also at Bobovišće.

Pasadur

Pasadur is situated on the western side of Lastova, the South-Dalmatian island most remote from the mainland, and connects the island with the islet of Prezba. On both sides of the pier there are private houses, the only hotel of the town, Solitudo, as well as a diving club and several restaurants. The only anchorage available for yachts is located in front of the hotel.

Pomena

On the site of today’s Pomena, archeological excavations have uncovered the remains of a Roman villa, which reveals that this small bay, protected from four islands, was already populated in antiquity. It presumably served as a small harbour for boats on the journey to Korcula, as Mljet harbour still today is the closest harbour to Korcula. The bay is protected from all winds and suitable for an extended stay. Larger boats can anchor to the south of Stijena cliff and the Pomestak island. Smaller boats can also find anchorage in the southern part of the bay (20-30 metres depth). The landing stages are located not far from the hotel. In the centre of the bay, there is a buoy field.

Polace

Polace is a town located on the northwestern side of Mljet island in a bay of the same name and surrounded by four small islands. This fact makes Polace one of the harbours in the Adriatic Sea naturally most strongly protected. The largest harbour is the main harbour of the National Park of Mljet. Mooring areas for larger boats are situated to the northeast of the palace ruins, close to the village (depth22-metres) as well as to the west of Tajnik island (depth approx. 35 metres) or to the west or southwest of Kobrava island (depth 43 metres). Smaller boats will find good anchorage in the western part of Rogač bay.

Lumbarda

Lumbarda is a small town on the eastern side of Korcula island. The sand beaches are noteworthy and a rarity in the Adriatic Sea. There is a Marina in Lumbarda. Anchoring is to be found in the bays of Bufalo and Tatijana. Bufalo bay is exposed to waves provoked by Jugo while Tatijana bay is open to winds from the northeast.

Palmizana

Palmizana bay is located on the northern side of Sveti Klement island and approx. two sea miles away from the town of Hvar. A Marina with 190 berths is situated in the bay but is only open during the summer months. On the southern side of the same island there is another amazing bay where anchoring is possible.

Stari Grad / Hvar

Stari Grad is located in the northern bay of Hvar island. During Buro, the boats can be moored safely in Zavala Bay and Tiha. During Jugo, Gračište, Sv Ante and Maslinica are recommended. Make use of the opportunity and take a stroll in the picturesque streets of this beautiful town.

Vrboska

Vrboska has been influenced by both sides of the Pjacas (eastern and western parts). The typically Mediterranean architecture with its small houses on both sides of the canal is very inviting. The canal developments are connected to the historic town. The houses in Gothic and Baroque styles were erected during the Renaissance period. The old churches on one side of the canal and the villas on the other give the small town its particular charm. Even though Buro and Jugo are noticeable within the bay, the boats are protected. Strong Jugo causes strong waves (in extreme weather, the waves can be up to two metres), hitting the harbour at high speed. Mooring is possible in the outer part of the harbour in the northern bay. During Buro, it is recommended to moor within the harbour.

Milna

Milna is the largest locality on the Western coast of the island Brac. The bay, in which Milna is located, splits into two arms: Žalo and Pantera. This is where, today, the Marina, with moorage for 200 boats and yachts, is situated. The Marina is equipped with all modern facilities and offers navigators from all over the globe safe landing and service.
